Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger) is an Norwegian artist and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the media. The artist has already recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the group Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's endorsement of the song Runaway via a blog post brought the singer additional appreciation. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the music it could produce.
