Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the most famous and rich Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) as well as Sensimelia All of these contributed to his growing reputation in the newest generation of reggae artists. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue an acclaimed cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at the Midem event (an international music showcase) and was first held in Miami. Marley performed a set live in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley was at the center of auction warfare. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997. He then completed the collaboration with label friend P.M. Dawn who
